I’ve been a little bummed because I feel like I have no time to write. By the time I get home after a long day of work I’m usually too damn tired.
I’ve known that the only solution was to get up earlier. The house is quiet and I can have some peace and time to unwind. So today I set my alarm for an hour earlier and although I was tempted to stay in bed from sheer exhaustion I felt my feet hit the floor.
I can’t believe how much “shit” I got done with that extra hour. I picked up the house, hung up all the laundry I did yesterday, cleaned the cat’s litter box, cleaned the kitchen, had a cup of coffee and actually had some time to write. Go figure…
Yah! YOU! Nice to see you write! All that shit can wait, just write!!! No matter what, that stuff gets done…right? I mean eventually it does, as I sit here with dishes in my sink, laundry waiting, and a yard that is crying my name. But you need to feel good above all! I look forward to more post my friend!
Trisha
Awww, always so encouraging my friend – thanks 🙂
You up an hour early? Now you know why I like early morning time. It just seems so peaceful.
Your priorities should be writing about messy house, unhung laundry, cat using carpet as a litter box and a kitchen that needs cleaning. Keep the coffee and write. Was just thinking yesterday I hadn’t read a blog from you in a while. Thanks for this one Sandy always love the little insights.
Thanks Bill, my main computer was toast the last two months. I’m up an running now so I’m sure I’ll be posting more often. Thanks for the nice comments and my cat would never urinate on the floor, he’s got manners.
Hi Sandy. Gosh, it was a real surprise seeing you here today. Welcome back – lovely to see you. I don’t know how people who go to work full time ever find the time to blog! With the lighter mornings, I’ve been getting up an hour earlier, and you are so right, it’s amazing just how much you can get down in that time. Hope to see you here a bit more often now.
Sandy I finally found your blog. It makes me sad that you are bummed. So please start writing again as I look forward to them so much. BTW is Trish Harner the girl friend you had in the Air Force?
Love ABL
ABL, I had two friends named Trish in the Air Force. You met the other one who was my roommate.
