I’ve been back from my holiday vacation for almost one week and am slowly getting back into the groove of things.

I’ve signed up for another class that starts next month. What can I say, I like to learn new things. If I want to apply to that company I mentioned in a previous post I need to become proficient in this computer program. I will have to take a second class once I’ve completed this one. I don’t think I have the experience needed for the positions that I’ve seen open on their website but I’m hoping soon I will see one that will be a nice fit for me.

I had some really sad news from home that I am still trying to get a handle on. A neighborhood friend of mine from childhood died on Friday night. He was only 44 years old, married, 4 children and just an all around “great guy.” It just rocks you to the core. It’s a reality check that we are never promised tomorrow and we must live each day to the fullest. I’m fortunate that I was able to see him last week while I was home, never in my wildest dreams would I have known it would be the last time 🙁

So sorry to hear about your friend. I will say a prayer for his family. Good luck with your class that you are taking. I admire you for stepping out there and doing that. Glad you’re back home safely!

I’m so sorry to hear about your friend. It’s true that we never know when it will be the last time we see someone and I’m sure you had a great time with him last week.

Good luck with your classes, I’m sure you’ll be very successful.

Like the others, I was so very sorry to hear about your friend. That is so young, and, you are right, it really does shake you. It also tells us that we really must try to make the most of every single day, for no-one knows what might be round the corner. Good luck with the new Class.

I’m really sorry to hear about your friend. I faced a similar situation with one of my friends and regret that I didn’t keep in touch with him.
And hey, good luck with your classes. I hope you’ll find a suitable job at the company you want to work for soon.

So sorry to hear your news…it does cause one to stop and ponder ones life. Lessons to be learned. You are living your life fully as far as I can see. You are creating everyday! You are dreaming and visioning and writing, traveling, living full of life, laughter and love. You are a gift and inspiration to us all! I am sure your friend felt the same way and was happy to see you when you were home.
    Happy 2011 Sandy!
    Love Trisha

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I enjoy seeing websites that understand the value of providing a prime resource for free. I truly loved reading your post. Thanks!
