I was at the Eye Doctor yesterday getting a new prescription for my bifocals, talk about my dry eye I’ve developed and ask if losing (because I can’t see them anymore) my upper eye lids can affect my vision.
Alright so maybe I was feeling my age today and that looming big number in a few days didn’t help my state of mind.
While staring into my dilated eyes my Doctor informed me that I have the eyes of a very young person, alright maybe I just added “very,”
Isn’t it crazy how sometimes the smallest compliment can just make your day.
Try it and watch the reaction on a person’s face, it’s pretty amazing.
So glad your eye doctor put a smile on your face, it’s always nice to hear good things.. Happy birthday to you, your in my thoughts today.
So true. BTW you don’t look, act, or even seem anywhere near the big 5 zero…goes to show it’s just a number and it is all in your mind. You my friend will be forever 20 something to me.
Oh Sandy, what an adventure!!!! I’m so happy that you get to do these things that so many of us will never get a chance to do. And I agree with Trisha you DO LOOK 20. I am really proud of you, and terribly sorry I forgot yours & Frankies Birthday. So busy with Lisa’s.
OBviously I jumped ahead of the Eye Dr. and the Dry eye syndrome. I have it and it just gets worse. What did your Dr. reccomend for you to do? Besides making y’all feel good, I get the same feeling when I go to the hair dresser and she says “Still no gray hair, not one!” then she calls other girls over and they cannot believe I am 71, will be 72 in July.Yup, feels good!
Love how you added the “very” LOL 🙂 I can’t believe you’re 50!!! You’re old LOL 🙂 When did that happen? lol 🙂
